E.g. The Service Provider will lay down cobblestones in the Customer's landscapes. An independent contractor is hired by a customer to do a job, but the customer does not control HOW the job is accomplished. On the other hand, if the customer controls the methods/materials/techniques of how the job is accomplished, the service provider would be considered an employee.
